I had somewhat of a personal connection to this event as my wife has worked with autistic people for a number of years. One of the boys (a ring bearer at our wedding) she works with attends a school which benefitted from this charity when their school was broken into. Round-a-bout maybe, but it gave photographing this golf event a little bit of special meaning. The Els for Autism foundation is doing some great work through their unique series of Super Regional Events. Despite the rain, Shaughnessy provided an awesome backdrop to the Vancouver stop on the “tour”.
