Photographing in the forest of and mountains of Vancouver is definitely where I feel most comfortable. While locations like Stanley Park and Lynn Canyon are popular though, it’s unique places like this that really get me excited to shoot engagement sessions. Tucked away in the middle of a North Vancouver residential neighbourhood, this forest canyon is something right out of Jurassic Park. Hans, Sophie and I spent a recent evening walking among the trees, scrambling over rocks and balancing on logs suspended high over the stream. While the exact location of this forest canyon has to remain a secret due to promises made, I can’t wait to go back and photograph another amazing couple here.
