Shaughnessy Restaurant Wedding Cost
Shaughnessy Restaurant offers very straightforward pricing. You can choose to have both your ceremony and reception at this venue or only a reception.
The food and beverage minimum for a Friday/Sunday night wedding is $10,000 + 32% (taxes + gratuity) and $12,000 for a Saturday wedding. Either option will buyout the restaurant and provide you with a completely private venue. Additional fees for administration etc. come to approximately $1000.
The cost of having your wedding ceremony at Shaughnessy Restaurant is $1650. Not included in this venue rental fee are items such as chairs ($5 per), Microphone/Speaker ($100).

VanDusen Gardens is an incredible sanctuary in the middle of Vancouver and the perfect place to get married. Hayley and Tyler thought so too and chose Shaughnessy Restaurant inside the gardens for both their wedding ceremony and receptions. The exposed wood patio is a stunning ceremony location and allows for plenty of natural light while still keeping guests covered in the event of inclement weather. Hayley started the day off at the River Rock Hotel in Richmond before making her way to the botanical garden venue. They chose to have a unique first look with Tyler having his back turned to everyone until Hayley was at the end of the aisle. It was an intimate wedding ceremony full of emotional moments. Following the ceremony we took wedding photos in VanDusen Gardens. The grounds are immaculate and especially beautiful in the summer when the flowers are out. In Vancouver we’re spoiled for intimate restaurant wedding venues (Brix Restaurant and Hawksworth Restaurant come to mind) but few have the amount of natural light that Shaughnessy Restaurant does. It makes taking candid wedding photos a breeze and fits perfectly with a garden theme.

VanDusen Gardens has a number of both indoor and outdoor spaces available for your wedding which is important if you know how much it rains in Vancouver. My personal favorite space to have your VanDusen gardens ceremony is on of the many lawns throughout the area. With size ranges from 30 to 800 guests, VanDusen gardens is perfect for both intimate weddings or elopements as well as very large weddings. You have a variety of wedding ceremony backdrops to choose from, from forest and a waterfall to the North Shore mountains. All are secluded which gives you a very private feeling for your wedding ceremony. While the indoor ceremony space is also beautiful is better suited for small weddings. The exposed wood ceiling At VanDusen Gardens makes for one of the most unique indoor wedding venues in Vancouver. When it comes to wedding photos at VanDusen gardens you are spoilt for choice and there is no reason to leave the property. The gardens are expansive and immaculate and make for the most romantic wedding portrait location in Vancouver.
